Studio Scenes

The Studio Scenes are some of my favorite
paintings. I love the jumble of it all. Whenever I can give up
control, artistically, I love the unexpected and interesting things that can
happen. But most of all, I love the people I painted with. We would
meet weekly, to paint, eat, listen to music and generally encourage each
other. It was kind of like a painting "jam." We inspired
each other, got jealous of each other's work (well, at least I did), and
generally pushed each other on. I have tried to remain true to the
artistic ideals that we all strove for.
